Community Guidelines
These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) are issued by NinthMoon AI LLC (“NinthMoon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and apply to everyone who posts, comments, replies, likes, or otherwise participates in the public community (“members,” “you”). By participating, you agree to these Guidelines, which operate together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.
Scope: Public Community Only
These Guidelines apply only when you post publicly to the community, where your content is visible to other members. Private journal entries that you choose to keep to yourself are personal, are not shared with anyone, and are not subject to these community rules — they are governed by our Privacy Policy. You choose whether each entry is private or public before you post it, and only public posts are covered here.
Core Principles
- Engage with kindness, empathy, and mutual respect.
- Respect the diversity of experiences, perspectives, and coping mechanisms shared here.
- This is a supportive peer space, not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health help.
Privacy and Confidentiality
- Respect others’ confidentiality and boundaries.
- Do not post personal contact information (yours or others’), and do not solicit it.
- Do not repost or disclose another member’s content outside the platform without their explicit consent.
Content Standards
You may not post content that is pornographic, obscene, violent, illegal, or graphic; hateful, bullying, threatening, or harassing; promotional or solicitous for monetary gain; impersonating others or misrepresenting professional credentials; or presented as medical fact when it is harmful or inaccurate. Share personal experience, not professional authority.
Sensitive Topics and Responsible Sharing
Conversations about self-harm, trauma, abuse, or suicide must be approached with care. Use trigger warnings, avoid graphic descriptions, and never encourage, glorify, or instruct self-harm or unsafe practices. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.
Reporting, Blocking, Hiding, and Removal — and What We Store
We give you tools to control your experience. Here is how each works and what data it involves:
- Report content. Use the in-app report tool if you see content that is harmful, abusive, or violates these Guidelines. Reporting is wired as a safety mechanism (the default reason addresses self-harm concerns), and reports may carry a risk-level note for our moderators. When you submit a report, we collect your name and email along with the report so our team can review and follow up. You may report the same item once every 7 days. Misuse of reporting (for example, flagging solely due to disagreement) may lead to account restrictions.
- Block a member. Blocking hides that member’s content from you and yours from them. It is reversible (you can unblock), and the block record is kept until you unblock or delete your account.
- Hide content. Hiding affects only your own view and can be toggled off.
- Remove your own content. Removing a post, comment, or reply hides it from the community. Please note that removed content is marked as removed and hidden, but is retained in our systems (not immediately erased); it is permanently deleted when you delete your account.
Moderation and Enforcement
Our moderators may remove or hide any content that violates these Guidelines and may restrict or remove members who violate them. We aim to act on credible reports of objectionable content promptly (typically within 24 hours); unresolved reports are escalated in our internal queue. Every moderation action is recorded in an internal audit log for accountability. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or permanent removal.
Deletion
When you delete your account, your community content — posts, comments, replies, likes, bookmarks, hidden-item records, your blocks, and reports you filed — is erased as part of the account-deletion process described in our Privacy Policy.
Updates and Contact
We may update these Guidelines; material changes will be posted with a revised effective date.
