About the role
NinthMoon is building an AI-native reproductive care ecosystem designed to support women across periods, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and beyond. We’re looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer who can help build, maintain, and scale our platform across mobile, web, backend, and AI-integrated experiences.
This is a hands-on startup role for someone who enjoys taking ownership and shipping products end to end.
What you’ll do
Product development
- Build and maintain features across our mobile app and web platform.
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, AI, and Growth teams.
- Translate product requirements into production-ready features.
Mobile development
- Develop and maintain React Native applications.
- Support iOS and Android releases.
- Improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
Backend development
- Design and maintain APIs and backend services.
- Work with Firebase, databases, authentication, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
AI product integration
- Integrate AI capabilities into product experiences.
- Work alongside AI engineers to implement AI-powered workflows.
- Build systems that support conversational experiences, memory, personalization, and analytics.
Engineering excellence
- Maintain code quality and technical documentation.
- Participate in architecture and technical decisions.
- Support testing, debugging, and production releases.

What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience shipping production mobile applications.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills.
- Ability to independently own features from concept to deployment.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and startup environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Important
We use AI-assisted development tools extensively, including Claude, Cursor, and related tooling. We are looking for someone who can leverage these tools effectively while also understanding the underlying engineering principles and architecture.
The ideal candidate can build with AI tools, but does not depend on them.
