About the role
At NinthMoon, we’re building the future of reproductive care and women’s health. To better understand real experiences, beliefs, challenges, and perspectives, we’re building a network of Community Research Contributors who can help us conduct short street interviews and public opinion research in their cities.
Language is not a barrier — in fact, we encourage contributors to conduct interviews in the language most comfortable for participants. Whether it’s Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Malayalam, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, or any other language, we value authentic conversations and local perspectives.
What you’ll do
- Visit public spaces in your city — parks, markets, campuses, malls, cafes, events, and more.
- Conduct short interviews using the questions and guidelines provided by our team.
- Record video responses using your smartphone.
- Collect authentic perspectives from people across different age groups and backgrounds.
- Submit recordings and brief field notes.

What we’re looking for
- Enjoy talking to strangers.
- Are confident and approachable.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Can respectfully engage with diverse groups of people.
- Have access to a smartphone with a good camera.
- Active on social media or comfortable creating video content.
- Can communicate comfortably in English or their local language(s).
- Students, creators, researchers, aspiring journalists, community builders, and working professionals are all welcome to apply. No prior experience required.
